It's worth making a fuss about because, quite frankly, there aren't that many of us.

The Certification exam tests your FileMaker knowledge thoroughly. It is a very fair exam and requires practical experience. And yes, it is a tough exam.

At the time of writing (Sept 2010) within the UK there's just 12 Developers listed as being FileMaker v11 Certified - out of 97 companies registered as FileMaker Consultants. (and half of those 12 are in just 2 companies).
